The pressure was further increased with a sixth-wicket stand of 30 off 23 balls. Tristan Stubbs caught Hardik Pandya at long-off after he attempted to accelerate with a first-ball dismissal off Keshav Maharaj, bringing the equation down to almost three runs per ball at 86 for 6 in 14.1 overs.
Shivam Dube offered the lone resistance, top-scoring with a 37-ball 42, but the effort was not enough to prevent a heavy defeat.

He strangled momentum just as the innings was about to get away with it, bowling a total of 12 dot balls, which is the equal of two maiden overs in the shortest format.
However, Miller and Brevis did not back down.
